Traxit terms of service

These terms explain the agreement between Traxit and the businesses and people who use its field-service web and mobile applications.

Last updated November 1, 2026

Who these terms cover

Traxit is provided by Traxit, LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("Traxit," "we," or "us"). These terms are an agreement between Traxit and the business or organization that uses Traxit (the "customer"). They also apply to each person the customer lets use its workspace (a "user").

By creating an account, signing in, or using Traxit, you agree to these terms. If you use Traxit for a business, you confirm that you may accept these terms for that business. If the customer has signed a separate written agreement with Traxit, that agreement controls where it differs from these terms.

Accounts and workspace administrators

  • Each customer works in its own workspace. The customer's workspace administrators decide who can join, what each user can see and do, and when a user's access ends.
  • Keep your sign-in details private and tell us right away at support@traxitapp.com if you think someone has used your account without permission. You are responsible for activity under your account, and the customer is responsible for its users' activity in its workspace.
  • Users must be at least 18 years old and give accurate account information.

Your data

The customer owns the business records it and its users put into Traxit, such as customers, properties, jobs, inspections, photos, quotes, invoices, and time records ("customer data"). The customer gives Traxit permission to store, copy, process, and display customer data only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service, and as the customer directs, for example when it sends a quote or connects an integration.

The customer is responsible for having the right to put customer data into Traxit and for its accuracy. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information.

Acceptable use

Do not use Traxit to:

  • break the law or infringe anyone's rights;
  • upload malware or content you have no right to share;
  • access another customer's workspace or data, or get around security, access limits, or usage limits;
  • overload, disrupt, scrape, or reverse engineer the service, except where the law allows it; or
  • resell or provide Traxit to others without our written permission.

We may suspend access that puts the service, other customers, or the public at risk. When we can, we will tell the customer first.

Third-party services and integrations

Traxit can connect to services that other companies provide, such as QuickBooks Online from Intuit. When a customer connects one, the customer tells Traxit to exchange data with that service, and the other company's own terms and privacy policy apply to the customer's use of it. Traxit does not control those services and is not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or changes.

QuickBooks Online calculates the sales tax and totals on invoices that Traxit publishes to it. Traxit shows those amounts but is not responsible for QuickBooks' tax calculations or for the customer's tax settings and filings. The customer can disconnect an integration at any time in Traxit or in the other service.

Mobile apps

The Traxit mobile apps are part of the service and these terms apply to them. Apple and Google are not parties to these terms and are not responsible for the apps or their support. Your use of an app store is also subject to that store's terms. Keep the apps updated; older versions may stop working.

Fees

Traxit subscriptions are billed directly by Traxit, not through Apple, Google, or another app store, and the apps offer no in-app purchases. The customer pays the fees in its order or invoice from Traxit, plus applicable taxes. Unless the order says otherwise, fees are not refundable. If fees are overdue, we may suspend the workspace after giving the customer notice.

Changes to the service

We regularly improve Traxit and may add, change, or remove features. If we remove something important that the customer relies on, we will give reasonable notice when we can.

Ending the service, data export, and deletion

The customer may stop using Traxit at any time. Either the customer or Traxit may end the subscription as described in the customer's order, and Traxit may end it sooner if the customer seriously breaks these terms and does not fix the problem after notice.

Before the service ends, or within 30 days after it ends, the customer may ask for a copy of its customer data by emailing support@traxitapp.com. After that, we delete customer data as our privacy policy describes, except where the law requires us to keep it. Individual users can ask to delete their own account on our account deletion and privacy request page.

Disclaimers

Traxit is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise the service will be uninterrupted or free of errors.

Traxit helps teams record and manage their work, but it does not replace professional judgment. The customer is responsible for its inspections, repairs, code compliance, invoices, taxes, and the decisions it makes using Traxit.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, neither Traxit nor the customer is liable to the other for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. Each party's total liability arising from these terms or the service is limited to the amount the customer paid Traxit in the 12 months before the event that caused the claim. These limits do not apply to the customer's obligation to pay fees or to liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

Responsibility for claims

The customer will defend and indemnify Traxit against third-party claims that arise from customer data or from the customer's or its users' use of Traxit in breach of these terms.

Governing law

Texas law governs these terms, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be decided in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and each party agrees to those courts' jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will publish the new version here and change the date above, and we will notify workspace administrators of important changes. Continuing to use Traxit after a change takes effect means accepting the updated terms.

Other terms

If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a part of these terms is not a waiver. The customer may not transfer these terms without our consent, except as part of a merger or sale of its business. These terms, together with any order and our privacy policy, are the whole agreement about Traxit.
